On-site Consultations

My standard rates for Feng Shui and/or Vaastu Shastra advice are based on the size (square footage) of the building and scope of work required. They typically range from a minimum of $250 (small place or limited scope) to $900 (over 6000 sq.ft or extensive scope) per location. If you have special financial circumstances, we will work within your budget.

On-line Consultations

To receive a Feng Shui evaluation online, send an e-mail to sgxenja@aol.com detailing the history, current circumstances, and your specific Feng Shui needs and objectives for the location. We'll quote you a fixed fee for the work. Fees are in US dollars, and based on the size of the building and scope of work required. On approval, you can send scans, jpg, pict, tiff, eps, pdf, dwg or dxf files of the site, location, and floor plans, and/or digital images.

Following our evaluation, we'll contact you by phone with our analysis and recommendations, or you can choose the option of receiving a report by e-mail. Normally, our turn-around time is 3-5 days, however if you are in a rush or emergency situation we'll do our best to accomodate you.

Consultations by Mail

For design assistance, plan review, or site-evaluation by mail, please send a drawing showing the streets around the building, the lot shape, and how the structure is placed on the lot to:

Include a simple floor plan showing the rooms, doorways, windows, fireplace and stove location, bed and desk positions. Simple color photographs (which can easily be taken with an inexpensive disposable camera) of the building's exterior, interior, and the neighboring structures are very helpful. Include a history of the lot, house, office, or apartment (whatever may be known), a description how life is going in the areas of career, knowledge, family, wealth, fame (reputation), marriage, children, and helpful people. Also include any special circumstances like legal problems, illness, difficulty in selling a property, trouble with neighbors, etc.

Fees for consultations by mail are the same as for an on-line consultation.

Questions and Concerns

If you just have a few questions about a location, for example, if you need a specific solution or simply want to know how to apply the Ba-Gua, simply call, write or send a fax, and we will determine an appropriate fee.

Space Clearing, Energy Adjustments, Dowsing, and Earth Energy Problems

One of the most powerful uses of Feng Shui is to adjust the energy of a site through transcendental rituals and ceremonies. The following Feng Shui "Major Adjustments" are available as part of a Feng Shui Consultation or can be performed independently.

“Yu Wai” Exterior Ch’i Adjustment
This major adjustment is a blessing ceremony that encourages growth, luck and prosperity. Typically performed when moving into a new home or business location, it can also be used during times of bad luck, as a cure for predecessor problems, or when under spiritual attack. It can correct the effects of an inauspicious site, such as a home or business located on a burial ground.

Sealing the Doors
Sealing the doors is a major adjustment to be used when a building's occupants are experiencing bad luck, threats, lawsuits, sickness, death, or predecessor related problems. It can be performed for protection when living near a funeral home, cemetery, or a church that holds many funerals.

Tracing the Nine Stars
This major adjustment is used to clear a location, transforming bad luck into prosperity and good fortune.

Some sites have earth energy problems, and can benefit from dowsing, a subtle technique often used to locate water, that can provide insights and information in unusual circumstances. As an experienced dowser, I'll use this technique in the context of my Feng Shui work, particularly when the standard methods are'n enough. Dowsing is also a great way to locate benefical energy points, and is a wonderful aid when choosing the best places on a property for specific activities
